Calling all West Grey homeschooling families! We are growing our community and would love for YOU to join us!

We’re excited to invite families with children in grades 5 to 12 to join us for Homeschooler Days at our Saugeen Academy Campus near Durham, ON. We are committed to offering social activities and age-appropriate workshops for grades 5-7, 8-9, and 10-12.

Throughout 2025, we plan to offer a variety of engaging half-day and full-day experiential learning opportunities, including:

  • 🎨 Visual Arts

  • 🖌️ Clay & Sculpting

  • 🔬 Hands-On Sciences

  • 🧵 Handwork & Crafts

  • 🔨 Woodworking

  • 🎭 Drama (and so much more!)

With small classes of 5-11, your child(ren) will receive personalized attention and have the chance to connect with other like-minded learners from the West Grey area.

Handwork & Artisanal Crafts

Grades 5-8 | Tuesday Afternoon Programming | Feb 18 to Mar 29, 2025 (6 Weeks)

Registration Fee: $135 ($15 off per additional sibling registered)

Join us on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 PM for a fun, hands-on exploration of traditional crafts! This season, students will learn the art of broom-making and choose from various creative projects to design and take home. Through guided instruction and creative freedom, students will develop practical skills, express their individuality, and experience the pride of crafting something unique. Perfect for anyone eager to explore the joy of making beautiful things by hand.
