At Saugeen Academy, learning is most impactful when it's hands-on, immersive, and deeply connected to nature and the world around us. Our farm school, located in the countryside of Durham, Ontario, offers students a unique opportunity to grow academically, practically, and socially within a small, nurturing environment. Our mixed-grade classes (Monday to Thursday), spanning grades 7 to 12, encourage cross-age learning and collaboration. We also provide workshop-style learning opportunities for homeschooled families and tutoring for local children in grades 5–12.

Who We're Looking For!

We’re seeking dynamic teachers who:

• Are passionate about integrating education with hands-on learning experiences.

• Have a deep commitment to sustainable practices and outdoor education.

• Value personalized, student-centered teaching approaches.

• Are flexible, creative, and eager to collaborate with colleagues.

• Hold relevant teaching certifications or experience in grades 5-12 (or specialized subject areas).

• Have experience with diverse learning strategies to best support students of various ages and learning styles in a mixed-grade environment. (Preferred)
